I Became a Postpartum Therapist Because I Needed One First
After having my first baby I struggled with feelings of loneliness, isolation, and uncertainty. Constantly questioning myself and longing for that version of me that felt confident in my life and in my decisions, but she felt very far away. What I needed was someone to tell me that what I was experiencing was normal — and that I wasn't alone in it. I needed honest, compassionate support that didn't just validate my feelings, but helped me find my way back to myself.
It was during that time that I chose to dedicate my therapy practice to supporting other women as they navigate pregnancy, postpartum, and other times of change and uncertainty in their own lives.
Therapy with me feels like confiding in your oldest friend — and leaving with something real to hold onto; actionable tips to help the days to come feel easier and more manageable.
I approach every session with warmth, honesty, and the kind of grounded feedback that actually moves the needle. I'm not here to tell you what you want to hear. I'm here to help you feel like yourself again — as a woman, not just as a mom.
I deeply value meaningful relationships and the ways we show up for one another. I value motherhood and the profound impact that it has on women’s identities and lives. I value honesty and transparency, and I believe in supporting women with compassion and accountability. My clients tell me that they consistently leave sessions feeling calmer, grounded, and more capable of handling what is in front of them.
